  • Tyler Toney takes over the four-time state champion West Linn Lions, replacing Eric Viuhkola as Head Coach. Coach Toney has an overall head coaching record of 101-28 in 5 years as a Head Coach at Portland Christian (4 years) and Riverdale (1 year). He was also the boys assistant coach at Warner Pacific College for four years, and is entering his sixth year with his alma mater West Linn High School.

  • The Lions lose eight seniors from a team that won the 6A State Championship. West Linn will not be lacking in talent; with key returners Braden Olsen and Jalen Thompson in the backcourt, plus the additions of Nolan Bertain, Keishon Dawkins, Rodney Hounshell and Khalid Thomas the Lions are poised for another big run. All six players are being recruited and can play above the rim.

  • West Linn has produced three Division 1 players over the past two seasons including four-time State Champion, three-time LSI All-Tournament team selection, and current starting point guard at the University of Oregon, Payton Pritchard.
