  • Coach Robert Key enters his fifth season as head coach of the Generals, totaling a 68-40 record in his first four seasons. Previously Key was the head coach at Hudson’s Bay and Roosevelt, where he reached the state finals and three times was named PIL Coach of the Year.
  • Grant enters the 2018-19 season as defending state champions. The task for Key and the Generals will be how fast they can bring eight new players up to speed with returning starters and all-state guards Aaron Deloney and Ty Rankin.
  • The Generals will unquestionably led by senior guards Aaron Deloney and Ty Rankin. Deloney, a University of Vermont signee, is the only returning all-tournament selection from last year’s Les Schwab Invitational. He and Rankin will likely lead Grant in multiple statistical categories each game.
