  • Coach Shawn Alderman has been at the helm for the Tigers for more than two decades. He was named the state coach of the year in 2002 after leading Tigard to its second state championship in school history.
  • Tigard is making its first appearance in the Les Schwab Invitational since 2013. With a group of experienced seniors and sophomore guard Drew Carter at the point, the Tigers expect to be near the top of the Three Rivers League standings this year.
  • Unsigned senior Stevie Schlabach is coming off a first-team all-conference season as a junior when he averaged 22 points per game. One of the best shooters in Oregon, Schlabach shot 55 percent from the floor, 45 percent from 3 and 89 percent from the free throw line.
