  • Gary McKnight is coaching his 38th year at Mater Dei High School. He has a career record of 1,136 - 110 and is the winningest coach in California State History. He is #5 on the all-time coaching wins in the nation and currently the #2 among active coaches. He has won 36 league titles (36/37) winning 31 straight. He has 23 section titles, 16 Southern California Regional Titles, 11 California State Titles and 1 National Championship in (2013-2014).
  • Nine former players have played or currently play in the NBA including, LeRon Ellis, Reggie Geary, Miles Simon, Jamal Sampson, Cedric Bozeman, D.J. Strawberry, David Wear, Travis Wear and Stanley Johnson.
