  • Coach Rahim Tufts is in his third season as the head coach at Sherwood. Tufts spent five seasons at Scappoose, where he won the 2015 4A state championship and state coach of the year in addition to three league titles and coach of the year honors.
  • Last season marked the first year the Bowmen qualified for the 6A playoffs. The team made an eight game improvement in the win column after going 5-19 the season before. Sherwood moves into the Pacific Conference this year.
  • The Bowmen are led by returning 1st team all-Three Rivers League junior guard Jamison Guerra, who averaged 14 points per game last season. Tufts is also expecting a breakout year from Braden Thorn, a long and versatile athlete who can impact the game in a variety of areas.
