  • Coach Mike Wolf is in his second season as head coach at Westview after coaching previously at a New England prep school. He has compiled a 120-51 overall record as a high school head coach, following 11 years as a Division 1 assistant coach at Portland and Stanford.
  • After qualifying for the 6A playoffs last season, the Wildcats bring back an almost entirely new cast. Kobe Newton and Wayne Jamison are the lone returning players, with at least nine players getting first-time varsity experience.
  • While the Wildcats have many players who are new to the varsity level, sophomore Mason Guerra has had mounds of success on the baseball field. After helping Westview to the 6A state championship, Guerra committed to the defending national champion Oregon State Beavers.
