Team Info: Evergreen returns four lettermen from the 96-97 team which finished 20-4, and ranked 8th in the state of Washington. The Plainsmen return their three top scorers, Chris Neal (15.6ppg), Sean Gilliam (10.8ppg), and James Davis (10.3ppg).
The top two rebounders also return with Gilliam at 7.3rpg and Steve Chamberlain at 5.6rpg. This Evergreen team will resemble some of the great Plainsmen teams of the past with its uptempo, high-scoring, full-court-press style of play.
The past four years, Evergreen has been 21-4, 26-0, 23-3, and 20-4. The Plainsmen were state champions in 1995 and finished third in 1996. Coach Triplett's record is 144-57 over his nine years at Evergreen.
